Shelti Bubble & Dome Hockey Tables
Shelti was founded in 2001 by a group of investors, one of which was a former executive for one of the leading manufacturers of air hockey tables, Dynamo. Shelti occupies a space from a former company that made quality pool tables for over 50 years before they took it over. Shelti launched their first table in 2001. They focused their brand on high-end quality tables that are suited for professional, tournament and business customers with their experience in this side of the market. The Shelti brand makes more than just dome hockey with product lines in foosball, pool, and darts. In 2010, Shelti was purchased by Mark Robbins, a former world champion air hockey player. In 2012, he decided to change the company name to Gold Standard Games to better represent what they stood for. Though he plans to keep the strong Shelti name, he is making more commercial products under this new name.
